If you're looking for a quick crochet project this Easter then why not try making a little Easter basket, perfect for chocolate treats.

You'll need:
Double knitting wool in your choice of colour
4mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
Scissors
Ribbon
We will be working in rounds. Each round will start with a chain 2 (not counted as a stitch) and will end with a slip stitch into the top of the starting chain 2.
Round 1 - Make a magic ring, chain 2, work 12 treble crochet into the magic ring. Then join the ring with a slip stitch at the top of the chain 2. (12 stitches plus starting chain).
Round 2 - Chain 2. Work 2 trebles into each stitch around and join with a slip stitch into the top of the first chain 2. (24 stitches plus starting chain).
Rounds 3 - 5: Chain 2. 1 treble into each stitch around. Join with a slip stitch into the top of the first chain 2. When you finish round 5 do not fasten off.
Next chain 25. Skip the first chain from the hook and work 1 half treble crochet into the next 24 chain stitches. Then slip stitch to the 1st treble from round 5. Fasten off and sew in the tail.
Fold the basket in half to find the middle and sew the other end of the handle to the basket. Sew in tails and finish off by adding a ribbon to decorate your basket.
Lastly fill with chocolate treats and enjoy!
